The Sun quoted her agent as saying that the couple have not split as yet because of Ashley's sexual peccadilloes.

"They are definitely still together. There is obviously lots of stuff going on at the moment and Cheryl has gone away for a break to clear her head for a few days," the agent was quoted, as saying.

The Chelsea ace's affair may also shatter Cheryl's plans to start a family with him.

Cheryl, 24, sobbed as her band shot the video for new single Can't Speak French. She was comforted by band-mates Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.

Cole, 27, has been accused by Cheryl of two-timing her with hairdresser Aimee Walton, 22. When Aimee feared she was pregnant, a representative of the England defender offered her cash for an abortion.

Two other girls have also claimed they were paid off after sex with Cole, who was back with team-mates yesterday at Chelsea's training ground in Cobham, Surrey.

And the source said: "Cheryl is just bracing herself for more tales of his cheating."

BUSTY glamour model Alicia Douvall threw a cup of scalding tea over Lizzie Cundy - wife of ex-Spurs star Jason - after the pair clashed over Cole's affair on GMTV yesterday.

In a heated row Alicia, 28, blasted "cheating rat" footballers while Lizzie, 37, rapped "kiss and tell" girls.
