S. Australia coach says Tait will return to cricket

South Australias cricket coach Mark Sorell has predicted that injured and physically exhausted fast bowler Shaun Tait will return to cricket, but refused to say when.

Sydney, Jan.30 : South Australia's cricket coach Mark Sorell has predicted that injured and physically exhausted fast bowler Shaun Tait will return to cricket, but refused to say when.

The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Sorell as saying that Tait, who called it quits from all forms of cricket citing mental and physical exhaustion on Tuesday, will be given the space he needs to recover.

"There were no real major things for me, but I know that if he's saying that he's exhausted, I guarantee that he is. We have got to get him back enjoying the game of cricket and loving it and coming back playing for us and hopefully Australia," Sorell said, adding that he had no doubt Tait, 24, would play again.

"I don't have any doubts really, but it's hard for me to say. We will be giving him the space that he needs and support so that we can see how long it takes. The main thing is he has got to get that love and passion back for the game - and how long it takes is how long it takes," Sorell said.
