Team Indian scored 52 runs for the loss of one wicket on the second day of the third Test match against Australia at Perth. This took their lead to a solid 170 runs, with Virender Sehwag looking in good form with the bat. It was an all round performance by India that put them in the drivers seat. ANI

Aussies all out for 212, Kumble becomes first Indian bowler to take 600 wickets
Skipper Anil Kumble became first Indian bowler to claim 600 Test wickets when he took the scalp of Andrew Symonds, who was caught by Rahul Dravid at slip for 66. Later on he wrapped up the Australian first innings at 212 by claiming the wicket of Shaun Tait. ANI

Capello being probed for tax evasion in Italy
England soccer coach Fabio Capello is being reportedly probed by Italian Customs for an alleged undeclared income of 10million euros (7.4-million pounds) - of which 3.3-million pounds would be due in taxes - from his time as manager of Juventus from 2004 to 2006. ANI

Ganguly taken to hospital
After taking three quick wickets, the Indians were apparently well-placed during the second days play of the Perth Test, but the Indian camp was a worried lot in the morning, when former skipper Sourav Ganguly was taken to hospital after a week-long illness. ANI
