Sydney, Feb.5 : Australia will look to rest pace bowler rett Lee during the one-day tri-series so that he does not get orn out.

With pacer Shaun Tait taking indefinite leave to deal with hysical and psychological stress, Australian coach Tim Nielsen aid it was important Lee was rested after an arduous start to he season.

Following Sunday night's washout against India, Lee hinted he ould be ready for a break after Friday's match against Sri anka, no surprise considering he has played non-stop since late eptember.

"I have bowled a lot of balls this summer and my workload has ncreased a fair bit," Lee said.

Nielsen said Lee's leadership and role in Australia's bowling rsenal was crucial, but that keeping him fresh was a more mportant factor.

"His resilience has been outstanding, he is in such a great vein f form," the coach told the Sydney Morning Herald last night.

"He has played a massive part in our team, he has been brilliant or us all summer. He has bowled long spells, aggressive spells. e are certainly conscious of the fact Brett has worked hard. We ill need to sit down and choose a time [to rest him] which suits rett and the team. It is important that he is fresh and going ell," Nielsen added.

Meanwhile, Australia's proposed tour of Pakistan is in further oubt following the bomb blast outside the General Headquarters n Rawalpindi on Monday. At least five were killed when a bomber, trapped with explosives, ploughed his motorcycle into an army us carrying several people.

Cricket Australia chairman Creagh O'Connor is set to receive a roposed tour schedule from his Pakistani counterpart, Nasim shraf, in Dubai today.

Nielsen said he had "complete faith" in CA's security assessment rocess.
