Speculations are rife that football ace David Beckham is considering adopting a child, for he is said to have been quizzing Hollywood star Tom Cruise about the adoption process.
London, February 27 : Speculations are rife that football ace David Beckham is considering adopting a child, for he is said to have been quizzing Hollywood star Tom Cruise about the adoption process.
Cruise, who happens to be a close friend of the Beckhams, himself has adopted two children-Connor and Isabella-with his former wife Nicole Kidman.
A source close to the Beckhams says that the 'LA Galaxy' star feels that adopting a girl may complete his family, as he has three sons-Brooklyn, 8, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3.
"Victoria definitely wants a girl but she's not sure if she wants to go through a fourth pregnancy," the Daily Express quoted the source as saying.
"David asked Tom for his thoughts on it and came away from their chat excited about the possibility of adopting," the source added.
The newspaper report also suggests that Beckham might have started to take interest in child adoption after he visited Sierra Leone as Unicef Goodwill Ambassador.
