The Girls Aloud singer flies into London today following her relaxing break in Thailand and Los Angeles with bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts.
But instead of heading to see bedhopping Ashley - even though they have spent almost two weeks apart - Chezza plans to let him stew a little longer, the Mirror reported.
According to The Sun, Cheryl feels she needs to give him a final hearing.
"But she knows deep down that there's nothing more he can say. He is guilty as sin and there is no excuse," it quoted a friend of hers, as saying
She stopped eating after The Sun revealed the England footballer cheated on her with hairdresser Aimee Walton and a couple of other women.
She then flew off to Thailand from her Surrey home with a couple of friends to thin things over, and has now decided to take part in Wednesday's Brit Awards.
