Chinese actor Jackie Chan has released an official Olympic album comprising of 10 songs.

New Delhi, Aug 8 : Chinese actor Jackie Chan has released an official Olympic album comprising of 10 songs.

Chan's star-studded album "Official Album for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games" is one of the two Olympic albums authorized by the Beijing Olympics organizing committee.

The actor participated in the promotion of the album with China Central Television anchor Bai Yansong.

The actor's album includes tracks like "We Are Ready" and "Welcome to Beijing."

"The album is an extension of the official compilation, we chose Jackie because he is the best-known Chinese celebrity, and also because he has done a lot for the Olympics," the China Daily quoted producer of the Olympic albums Yu Binghan, as telling Sina.com.

The other Olympic album to be released soon is compiled by Tan Jing.

Chan received his Olympic Volunteer certificate at the inauguration ceremony for China Story, a project promoting Chinese culture and for which he and Tan Jing will together sing the theme song.
