London, Oct.29 : An amateur golfer took part in a charity round with just three clubs, and got two holes-in-one.
Phil Walker - with two irons and a putter - struck lucky at the sixth hole. His friends were amazed when he then went on and got a second hole-in-one at the tough 17th.
"You wait all your life for a hole-in-one, then two come along all at once. Usually, I end up in the water on the 17th, so just to hit the green would have done me - but to hole it!" ,The Mirror quoted chemist Phil, as saying.
Sunday's record comes more than a month-and-a-half after 15-year-old golfer Lewis Miller beat odds of 40 million to one to get two holes in one in the same hole and on the same day.
A shocked Lewis hit his first hole in one through a tee shot on the 113-yard third hole at Rushden Golf Club, Northants.
According to The Sun, Lewis was so happy with his achievement, that he returned and did it again.
Lewis, who has a seven handicap despite only taking up golf last year, said he could not believe his achievement.
The charity is raising cash for Children in Need at Mollington Golf Club in Chestershire.
