Hyderabad, Oct 14 : Indian team today entered into the quarterfinals in the football section of 4th Military World Games.
In a do-or-die encounter, India defeated Afghanistan by 1-0 with the lone goal being scored by Nguruilal in the fifth minute of beginning of the game.
Apart from India, Cameroon, Korea, Egypt, Guinea, Brazil, Qatar, and Ireland have entered the quarterfinals. The women football league matches started today with Korea beating USA 4-0. In another match, Netherlands defeated Canada 4-0.
