Australia are 147/4 at the end of 25 overs. Ponting gave a catch to Dravid who is at first slip off a ball from Harbhajan Singh. Ponting added 49 runs. Gilchrist made 51 runs before losing his wicket giving a simple catch to Uthappa off a ball from Pathan. The wicket of Hodge was taken by Kartik when Australia is at 129/4.
On the bowling front, Karthik gave an impressive show claiming an Australian wicket giving 11 runs in 4 overs he bowled so far.
