The Pakistani investigation team that went to Jamaica to investigate into the murder of former coach Bob Woolmer, is learnt to have finalised the report, and it is likely to be submitted to the Government today.
Lahore, May 5 : The Pakistani investigation team that went to Jamaica to investigate into the murder of former coach Bob Woolmer, is learnt to have finalised the report, and it is likely to be submitted to the Government today.
Investigating team's DIG Mir Zubair Mahmoo said that the report will be presented to the federal secretary of Interior Ministry, Kamal Shah.
On the request of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the Pakistan Government had decided to send a two-member team for investigation in the murder case.
The investigation team arrived in Jamaica on April 10 and in collaboration with Scotland Yard and Jamaican Police, it investigated into the case for about two weeks up to April 26.
Mahmood said that the Jamaican police and the Scotland Yard officials fully co-operated with the team during the investigation.
According to the sources of the investigation team, various aspects of the murder case were discussed in Jamaica. Most important was the involvement of bookies in Bob Woolmer's murder.
