Dhaka, May 25 : The Indian top order put a solid batting display by posting 326 runs for no loss against a relatively inexperienced Bangladeshi bowling attack in the second and final Test at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today.
Led by opener Wasim Jaffer's century (138 retired hurt), which came following a pair in the first Test, India was at the commanding seat with the top three batsmen scoring a half-century each.
Dinesh Karthik also retired hurt at 82.
Skipper Rahul Dravid was batting at 88 and Sachin Tendulkar at 9 at the draw of stumps.
Earlier this morning, Bangladesh skipper Habibul Bashar won the toss and much to the surprise of many, decided to field first.
Brief scores: India 326 for no loss in 90 overs (Wasim Jaffer 138 retd ill, Dinesh Kaarthick 82 retd ill, Rahul Dravid 88 batting).
