A sports memorabilia dealer is selling the suit that retired US footballer O. J. Simpson was wearing on the day he was acquitted in his ex-wifes murder trial.
Washington, May 19 : A sports memorabilia dealer is selling the suit that retired US footballer O. J. Simpson was wearing on the day he was acquitted in his ex-wife's murder trial.
According to reports, Bruce Formong has fixed the price of Simpson's suit, shirt, and tie at 25,000 dollars.
"I wish I had the underwear but he (Simpson) must have crapped himself when they said 'not guilty,'" TMZ quoted him as saying.
Formong has already offered to sell the stuff to sports memorabilia dealer Alfred Beardsley.
While Beardsley has yet not decided on whether to shell out a heavy sum on the stuff, he concedes that the memorabilia may earn him a hundred grand.
Formong is also selling some of the balls Simpson was presented during his football career, and a photo of the footballer with J. Edgar Hoover.
Simpson's representatives were unavailable for comment.
