Lahore, May 15 : The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that it is still awaiting an official word from Scotland Yard on what caused Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer's death on the night of March 18, a day after the team's defeat to Ireland in the World Cup in Jamaica.
A PCB spokesman on Monday clarified that since the board had not received any official communication from the Jamaican Police investigating the death of Bob Woolmer, it was unable to offer any comment on the situation.
"Let the official version come from the Jamaican Police on Woolmer's death and only then will we be able to comment on it," the Dawn quoted the spokesman, as saying.
Woolmer was found unconscious in his hotel room at Kingston and was later pronounced dead at a hospital. The Jamaican Police have been treating the coach's death as a murder case till now, but on Monday an investigative report claimed that Woolmer was not murdered.
