The fate of football star David Beckhams 1.3 million pound poolhouse at his French chateau hinges on the discretion of government authorities, as the Moroccan-themed building has been put up without planning permission.
London, May 13 : The fate of football star David Beckham's 1.3 million pound poolhouse at his French chateau hinges on the discretion of government authorities, as the Moroccan-themed building has been put up without planning permission.
Word has it that the local council has conveyed the details of the development in Bargeman, near Nice, to France's central government.
The government may order demolition of the structure if it decides that the construction has resulted in a serious breach of regulations, reports News of the World.
Beckham and his wife Victoria bought the five-million-pound, 19th century villa four years ago. They have already spent millions on its redesigning, thought they have made only a few visits there.
The building is complete with triple shower room, indoor BBQ, chill out lounge and all round sound system.
