Former Australian Cricket cricketer Dennis Lillee today said that team Indian pacer Irfan Pathan has rectified his bowling action and was performing well during practice sessions.
Chennai, June 30 : Former Australian Cricket cricketer Dennis Lillee today said that team Indian pacer Irfan Pathan has rectified his bowling action and was performing well during practice sessions.
"He (Pathan) has got things right under control. He has bowled beautifully in the last few days. He is bowling in match situations. And he is bowling very well," Lillee said.
Lillee had earlier said that Pathan had a problem with his bowling action though he was hopeful of the bowler's potential to become an all rounder on a long.
Pathan and Munaf Patel were currently undergoing a rehabilitation programme at a bowling training camp in Chennai. Both were dropped from the team for England and Ireland tour of the team, citing fitness and performance problems.
