Suspected Wimbledon drugs ring smashed

Londons Metropolitan Police force has reportedly smashed a suspected drugs ring at Wimbledon with the arrest of two suspect dealers.

London, July 6 : London's Metropolitan Police force has reportedly smashed a suspected drugs ring at Wimbledon with the arrest of two suspect dealers.

A 26-year-old man - thought to be a cleaner - was found with cocaine and cannabis during a routine search at an entry gate. A 24-year-old worker for electronic line-calling system Hawk-Eye got a penalty notice from cops and was sacked for trying to smuggle in cannabis last week.

According to The Sun, the arrests have sparked fears of a drugs ring operating inside the All England Club.

The 26-year-old was later released with a caution.
