London, Aug.6 : British footballer Frank Lampard and his fianc�e Elen Rives are reportedly on the verge of split after he was accused of cheating on her.

Lampard and Elen have been trading charges with each other after Elen refused to forgive the Chelsea midfielder for his tryst with an East European woman in a hotel room.

Lampard allegedly spent four hours with the mystery woman in a private villa at a Las Vegas casino after flying into the resort. They were pictured heading into the hotel room at five-star Wynn Hotel Casino while Lampard was enjoying a Las Vegas trip with the Chelsea team.

The 29-year-old has dismissed the cheating claims as "f***ing b******s".

A family friend told the Sunday Mirror: "Frank and Elen are thinking about going their separate ways.

Elen gave birth to their second daughter Isla in May, and the couple were set to marry this year.

But Rives was spotted without her engagement ring days after the reports. This is the second time that Lampard has been accused of cheating.

Last year Montse Lucas claimed that she bedded the star before Chelsea's champions league game against Barcelona.

Elen's father Jose said it was up to them to work it out between themselves.

Lampard did not return to the couple's four million pound detached home in Surrey after he arrived back from Chelsea's pre-season friendly in Copenhagen last week and has rarely been spotted at the property since.

Lampard's agent has denied claims of a break-up.
