Government to promote Tourism on par with IT

Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu said that the Government is keen to develop tourism sector in the state and that the necessary infrastructure is under the process of development. He inaugurated the Amaravati Mahotsavam in Guntur district. Addressing a gathering at the Bramhananda Reddy Stadium, he said that the state keen IT and Tourism on equal weight age scale. He commented that 'we are forgetting history' and that 'we need to recapitulate what our forefathers have created'.

Sri Kondapalli Seetharamaiah - founder of People's War Group dies

Founder of the Peoples War Group and Communist Leader Sri. Kondapalli Seetharamaiah died of Parkinson's Disease in Vijayawada. He is 87 and was survived with a wife and two grand-daughters.

Union Minister meets CM

Union Minister for Agriculture, Mr. Ajit Singh met Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu. The two discussed on the agriculture sector in the state while, CM asked the Minister for the release of food grains for May and June for the Food for Work program.
