Mindteck (India) Limited (BSE: MINDTECK), a global technology company, was among the select group of companies invited to participate in the 13th International Conference on Sustainable Habitat and Smart Cities held in Jaipur. The international event, supported by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, is one of its kind in India focused on sustainable built environment and good urban governance. The conference was well-attended by mayors, municipal commissioners, senior urban development officials from the Central and State Governments, urban local bodies from all over India, environment professionals, and planners.
Dr. KV Krishnan, Mindteck’s Vice President-IT Services, showcased the company’s eGovernment capabilities and highlighted its engagement—in tandem with two other consortium partners—with a state government. The e-Nagarpalika implementation will provide the urban development department with powerful data analytical capabilities for organized information management and enhanced citizen participation. "Advancement in ICT-based technologies have necessitated the need for quick accessibility to public services. Our solution has already been selected by one of the state governments in India, and we hope to join other eGovernment initiatives." commented Yusuf Lanewala, Mindteck Chairman and Managing Director.
