STPL Global Unveils Paywings 4.0, Payroll Software for SME markets in India

Launching the product in the Indian market took over 6 months of investment by the development team. Rajesh Pandurangan, the lead developer said, “ Indian companies love to adopt automation, however, they despise complicated software. Hence we had to completely redesign the flow and logic of the software, with focus on easy configuration and setup, so that the solution can be live and running in a matter of days.”
Paywings will aggressively adopt the channel distribution model in India to ensure that the world’s easiest Payroll software reaches every Indian company. The Executive Director of STPL Global, Palash Bagchi commented, “ We are well aware of the price sensitive market of India. While we have ensured that our software uses the American design concepts and user experience matched by no other Indian software house, we have also made the prices very competitive and economical. Our objective is to make the margins from the volumes and not from one customer.”
Paywings will launch its partner portal soon, and will enable trained and certified resellers across all cities and towns in India. As a strategy, the first 3 months will be focused on enabling partners in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. When questioned, the ED also acknowledged that since STPL Global is already a partner of Aptech Computer Education for entire Africa, they may also partner for Paywings training and enablement in India. This could be a faster in road into the already established Aptech training centers across India.
