The New Look Pulsars TVC: Launched and Dressed to Thrill

August 19, 2014 - Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Pulsar Maniacs are in for a very potent visual thrill. After launching the new look in late April this year, the brand has a striking new commercial ready to set the sports biker’s pulse racing once again. Based on the overwhelming response that the 200NS dual tone received, the brand has painted the entire Pulsar range with vibrant combinations of this energy. Commenting on the launch of new range of Pulsars with two-tone colours and the new communication, Mr. Sumeet Narang, VP (Marketing), Bajaj Auto said: “We are confident that the new avatars of Pulsar will appeal to the new age biker, who is seeking a bike that not only offers great technology, but also unparalleled aesthetics. The television commercial showcases the stunning new looks and acknowledges its inspiration. An ode to Pulsar’s greatest advocates."
The commercial has the trademark Pulsar high-octane energy with the stunts going a step further to provoke a merging of the rider’s style with his machine. Sure to leave you in awe, the ad showcases, for the first time, an extremely difficult-to-perform and capture, ‘Kangaroo’ stunt. In fact, it’ll have you take note of the Pulsar white variant (which is contrary to the usual black bikes from Pulsar) which makes its presence felt for the first time in the action packed 45 seconds. To lay focus on individual colour variants, there are three slickly designed 15-seconders that will make their appearance on-air shortly.
The commercial was launched first on social media to the Pulsar community on Facebook. The immediate response has been overwhelming with the video being shared and discussed on various forums across the country. The film is showcased on . The entire range can be checked out with a user controlled 360-degree view of the 150, 180, 220 and 200NS.
Pulsar has its range evolved to match your style and is definitely, Dressed to Thrill.

About Bajaj Pulsar

In 2001 Bajaj Auto marked the birth of the sports segment in the country with the launch of the Pulsar in the 150cc & 180cc categories. What has kept Pulsar ahead in the race is how the brand has stood for innovation and technology. From 2006 to 2009 it went from 1 million to 4 million Pulsars on the road. Something that definitely helped along was the coming of the powerful Pulsar 220 in 2007 and with it the communication of the bike as ‘the Fastest Indian’. 14 years since it came, it is now present in 30 countries, with 7 million of it being on the roads. Today Bajaj has grown to become the third largest manufacturer of bikes in the world and saying that ‘Pulsar has had a role to play’, would certainly be an understatement.
