Global Hospitals Launches Institute of Liver Diseases, HPB Surgery and Transplantation for Patients in Mumbai

Mr. Nikunj Kapadia, a 67 year old Mumbai based businessman was the first patient to get a new lease of life through Liver Transplant at Global Hospitals Mumbai. Mr. Kapadia was suffering from Liver Cirrhosis and only option available to him was through a Liver Transplant surgery. Mr. Nikunj patiently had to wait for a Cadaver Donor before his son Mr. Munjal Kapadia, aged 36 years decided to donate a portion of his liver to him.
One of the most comprehensive teams for a Liver Transplant program in India, lead by Prof. Mohamed Rela, who is one of the leading transplant surgeons in the country.
