Centre Point Ties up with Ensaara Metropark for New School

July 28, 2014 - Nagpur, Maharashtra, India

World class education meets premium real estate, as the Centre Point group of schools ties up with Ensaara Metropark to launch the Centre Point School Ensaara in Nagpur. The school will also incorporate a state-of-the-art early childhood centre – Mother’s Pet Kindergarten. The Centre Point group, comprising of 3 premier educational institutions in Nagpur was conceptualized in 1988 by Mrs. Aruna Upadhyaya and Mr. Arun Upadhyaya, its founding directors. The school is a manifestation of their visionary zeal of providing quality education to children in a student-friendly ambience.

Centre Point School Ensaara, spread across 8 acres, will accommodate 2000 students. An architectural masterpiece in terms of both design and functionality, the school structure has been developed in harmony with the climate of Nagpur and its environs. Using passive environmental control methods and green building principles, the school offers its students maximum comfort levels.

Research has indicated that light enables the mind to be more attentive and to function effectively to achieve excellence. Therefore, all the classrooms are north-facing for maximum glare-free light. Strategically-placed corridors act as buffer spaces, absorbing the heat off the south.

There are electronic boards in every class, junior and senior ICT labs, libraries, a math lab, language lab, social studies lab and science lab, a botanical garden, art, craft, music rooms, swimming pools, a skating rink, basketball courts, badminton courts, a cricket pitch, tables for table tennis, spacious auditorium and conference halls. These are just some of the school’s excellent features.

Emphasis will be laid on developing the Social Quotient – SQ and the ‘Joy’ Quotient – JQ, along with IQ. The inbuilt ethos is to create a space that encourages progressive discovery and fosters high achievement, aspiration, self-esteem and pure optimism.

Mother’s Pet Kindergarten

Mother’s Pet Kindergarten, founded in 1979 by Mrs. Aruna Upadhyaya with a few children in Sadar, has today grown to 4 branches covering all corners of the city of Nagpur with more than 2500 children. Mother's Pet Kindergarten is the Early Childhood Centre for the Centre Point Group of Schools. Mother's Pet follows a curriculum benchmarked to international standards, the underlying philosophy being the JOY QUOTIENT. The unique Zone System (patented) introduced by Director, Mrs. Radhika Rajwade is based on Dr. Howard Gardiner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences where the skills and aptitude of every child can find a niche. Language learning through the Phonic System ensures the complete absence of rote learning. The teacher student ratio is 1:10 with 2/3 teachers during instruction time and an attendant for ensuring individual attention.
