President Obama to speak at a vigil for Connecticut school shooting victims

President Barack Obama will speak at a vigil for the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims at Newtown, Connecticut on Sunday. The President plans to travel to Newtown and will speak at 7 pm Sunday interfaith vigil for families of the victims and other students fro the school. The Sandy Hook elementary school shooting massacre is one of the deadliest incidents in the US history.

Hours after the shooting, Obama said he grieved first as a father. In his address, President Obama called for meaningful action to prevent such shootings.

Meanwhile, the police has released the identities of all the 26 victims of the shooting. All the 20 children who were killed in the massacre were six or seven years old. The police also said that they found "very good evidence" which gives a clue as to the motives of the shooter.

The Lanza family released a statement Saturday night expressing sorrow.
