  • More than 1200 secret Boy Scouts' files detailing sexual abuse within the organization from 1965 to 1985 were published online Thursday. The documents, which are known as "ineligible volunteer" were published after the Oregon Supreme court has ordered its release. Media organizations had sued for the release of the documents which are part of a 2010 case.
  • A deadly airstrike by the government forces hit the town of Maarat al-Noaman in northern Syria killing at least 40. The town declared liberated just last week and was seen as a major victory for the rebels.
