Sarah Palin discussed trampolines, tanning beds in official e-mails!

June 11, 2011 - Washington

It appears that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin had exchanged quite a many personal e-mails which had nothing to do with the state's policy and planning.

The state of Alaska has released more than 24,000 pages of email exchanges from her account, which include discussions about trampolines and tanning beds, reports People magazine.

In one of the e-mails dated June 27, 2007, her husband Todd wrote, "Sarah says it is OK for Willow's friends to jump on the trampoline, but if they get out of control or one of them gets hurt on state grounds this could be a problem."

In reference to the installation of a private tanning bed in the Juneau governor's mansion, an e-mail dated Jan 28, 2008 from Executive Residence Manager Erika Fagerstrom reads:

"Install the bed in the basement next to the dryer and share the 220 outlet with the dryer. The bed would fit against the wall where the table is currently located."

The tanning bed, which made headlines back then, reportedly cost taxpayers about 35,000 dollars.
