Glass staircase in Ohio courthouse leaves women open to ogling eyes!

June 11, 2011 - London

Women have been advised to exercise caution when they visit the brand new courthouse in Franklin County, Ohio, which has a glass staircase that gives a clear view of the person climbing up.

Female court officials in robes or any woman walking up the 105 million dollar, 32-room courthouse stairs in a dress or skirt, stands a risk of being seen from below.

Attorney Lori Johnson, who regularly visits the courthouse is concerned about the use of camera phones from below and the issue of women's dignity being abused.

"Next thing you know, you're on the Internet. It sounds like a lawsuit in the making," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

Judge Lynch claimed that architects failed to consider the women population while designing the stairs of the courthouse, which opened only recently.

"Men designed it - they had no women input on this, that's what I thought," she said.
