March 24, 2011 - Melbourne

Four boys in Australia, in the ages of 11,12,13 and 14, have been charged with sexual assault against women and other offences over a two-day period.

Police claim that on March 9 the boys surrounded a 41-year-old woman as she walked along South Street in Bull Creek, Perth, and sexually assaulted her, the Herald Sun reported.

When the woman screamed, the boys ran off towards the Murdoch train station.

It is further alleged that inquiries by sex assault squad officers identified a number of other offences by the same boys, which occurred on March 9 and 10.

They include an alleged attack on a woman at the Murdoch train station, an attack on a 16-year-old girl at a fast food store in Bull Creek; an attack on a 42-year-old woman at a store at the Bull Creek Shopping Centre; an attack on a 16-year-old girl at the bus port at the Cockburn train station and an attack on a 67-year-old woman on Hefron Street in Rockingham.

It is also alleged two of the boys stole two scooters from the Murdoch and Warnbro train stations.

The 11-year-old Warnbro boy has been charged with aggravated indecent assault, aggravated sexual penetration without consent and stealing a motor vehicle.

The 12-year-old boy of Warnbro has been charged with aggravated indecent assault and sexual penetration without consent.

The 13-year-old boy of Port Kennedy is charged with aggravated indecent assault, aggravated sexual penetration without consent, indecent assault and stealing a motor vehicle.

The 14-year-old boy of Warnbro has been charged with aggravated indecent assault, aggravated sexual penetration without consent and indecent assault.

The boys will appear in the Perth Children's Court on March 25.
