Aussies keen to topple Gillard, Labor party: Poll

A majority of Australian voters do not approve Prime Minister Julia Gillard's government anymore and are keen to topple it, a poll has revealed.

The Newspoll, conducted through a telephone survey of 1128 people, has revealed that voter dissatisfaction with Gillard stood at 54 percent, reports.

The poll revealed reviving support for a Green government to 14 percent while the Australian Labor Party continued to command 34 percent votes.

According to the poll, the Liberal Party turmoil involving Abbott and Malcolm Turnbull and Joe Hockey has dealt a blow to the Labor Party.

The results pointed out that the voters are ready elect the Coalition, but they do not approve of its leader Tony Abbott.
