The recent period has witnessed extensive efforts undertaken by the Commission with several parties for the optimal setting to participate in the Plenipotentiary Conference (Guadalajara 2010). This stage has also seen significant cooperation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support the UAE candidature file in the membership of the Union Council, where the ministry made high level contacts to get the international support required."
