Princess Diana might have dazzled the world by dancing with John Travolta and Wayne Sleep, but as a teenager she complained that she danced like an elephant.
London, September 23 : Princess Diana might have dazzled the world by dancing with John Travolta and Wayne Sleep, but as a teenager she complained that she danced like an elephant.
In a letter to her ex-nanny, Diana, seventeen at that time, wrote "watching me dance is like watching an elephant."
It is one of four letters - never seen before - to Mary Clarke that are expected to fetch more than 10,000 pounds.
The letters shall go under the hammer on September 30 in Colchester.
In letters to Mary Clark, Diana talks of her love for Prince Charles, her excitement over their approaching marriage, and her feelings of being a first-time mother with Prince Wills.
Six months past her wedding, Diana revealed her passion for hubby Charles.
"I adore being married and having someone to devote my time to," the Sun quoted her, as stating in one of the letters.
The 58-year-old nanny spoke of Diana's modesty who she said always needed a boost of confidence.
She said: "Diana was a wonderful woman. But you had to bolster her confidence."
"She could never believe so many people loved her," she added.
