Sarah Palin is certainly not getting The Women stars votes

Vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin seems to have failed to impress the women who filmed in The Women, for they are not necessarily going to vote in favour of the Republican party.

New York, September 16 : Vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin seems to have failed to impress the women who filmed in 'The Women', for they are not necessarily going to vote in favour of the Republican party.

"I guess we have to root for her in that her son just went off to Iraq, and that's gotta be really, really tough," the New York Daily News quoted Meg Ryan, who plays the spurned wife in the all-chick flick, as saying.

"When I was watching the convention, I thought, 'Wow, it's fascinating ... how we can be equally intelligent people all believing different things.' She doesn't represent my politics at all," added Ryan.

Actress Jada Pinkett Smith also appeared to be all serious on the topic.

"It's nice to see that women in America are being extremely vocal about politics this year. But her being a woman hasn't made me sway to that side. Not one bit," she said

Debi Mazar added: "She seems like a great mother, but I don't agree with her politics at all. I don't want her running my country. We've fought so hard, and she would put us back 100 years."

Eva Mendes also appeared to be a bit more cautious.

"I think there are better people than myself to talk about politics. But it's an exciting election. I'm happy to be American. I'm happy to be a woman this year," she said.

Gorgeous Karen Duffy said at the screening that she was inspired by Palin to form a new organization: "Hockey moms for Obama."
