The founder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) of Pakistan, Altaf Hussain said that his country is passing through crucial situation and there is a need to think for the country above the power.
London, Sep 1 : The founder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) of Pakistan, Altaf Hussain said that his country is passing through crucial situation and there is a need to think for the country above the power.
"Pakistan is facing economic and financial crisis and going through various problems besides terrorism. The solidarity and security of the country is surrounded by various threat and therefore we have to think for the security and solidarity of the country above the political interests," The News quoted Hussain as having said to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Mushahid Hussain and other Muslim League leaders over phone.
He told Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain that their relationship was based on the existence of the country and the suppressed people and that the relation would last.
The MQM leader further said that they have already nominated Asif Ali Zardari for presidential election but he was glad that an able and talented person like Mushahid Hussain is participating in the presidential election.
