The central committee meeting of the CPN-Maoist will begin today to discuss the future direction of the party.
Kathmandu, Oct 3 : The central committee meeting of the CPN-Maoist will begin today to discuss the future direction of the party.
According to Kantipur, the meeting will focus on the future direction of the parties, its organizational structures, a general convention and evaluation of the days since it took over the leadership of the government two months ago
The party has so far been describing the federal democratic republic as a 'transitional republic.'
The meeting is taking place at a time when various opposition parties in the Constituent Assembly including the Nepali Congress (NC) have been alleging that the Maoists aim of bringing in a 'people's republic' is an attempt to impose totalitarianism.
