Islamabad, Oct 11 : Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has reportedly said that he had set a "tradition of non-violence" in politics and that he would not take revenge from anybody.
He said this while talking to Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid senators Gulshan Saeed, Rehana Yahya Baloch, Kulsoom Parveen and Tahira Latif at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, last evening, reported the Daily Times.
He said terrorism was a cancer for the country, and that the federal government and the opposition had to jointly curb it.
"Violence against women will not be tolerated and women’s quota in government jobs will be increased," he said and added that the government would also allot state land to women.
