LDR, a total spine solution company, introduced its verteBRIDGE(TM) anchoring technology, which features innovative, zero-profile, self-locking anchoring plates designed for initial and long-term stability. The technology will be incorporated into LDR's new stand-alone partial vertebral body replacement devices.
The surgical technique employs a minimally invasive direct anterior approach, which allows insertion of the curved anchoring plates along the sagittal plane thus requiring no additional exposure of the vertebral bodies.

The technology was designed by a global team of surgeons that includes Prof. Jerome Allain and Dr. Jean Lombard of France, and Drs. Charles Gordon, Michael Hisey, Vincent Leone, Pierce Nunley, and Jeffrey Phelps of the United States.
