Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) spokesman Farhatullah Babar has said that he was unaware about the May 12 deadline for the restoration of the sacked judges in Pakistan.

Islamabad, May 3 : Pakistan People's Party (PPP) spokesman Farhatullah Babar has said that he was unaware about the May 12 deadline for the restoration of the sacked judges in Pakistan.

"Several decisions taken in the meeting between PPP Co-chairman Asif Zardari and PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif in Dubai, such as the restoration of the judges through a resolution, the accommodation of a working judiciary and bringing a constitutional package. But, I am not aware of a date being fixed," The Daily Times quoted Babar as saying.

Babar also expressed ignorance of President Pervez Musharraf contacting PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari to express willingness to withdraw powers vested in him under Article 58 (2b).
