PML-N leader and former Pakistan premier Nawaz Sharif has said that President Pervez Musharraf was gaining strength after the recent rift in the ruling coalition, as a result of which his party walked out of the government.

Lahore, May 21 : PML-N leader and former Pakistan premier Nawaz Sharif has said that President Pervez Musharraf was gaining strength after the recent rift in the ruling coalition, as a result of which his party walked out of the government.

He said that the Presidency was "re-energising" after the rift in the ruling coalition.

The sacked judges would be restored, he said and added that he could not give a timeframe for their reinstatement.

Nawaz said that he had no knowledge of the reforms package being prepared by the PPP and that he would comment after he had reviewed the draft, reported the Daily Times.

The PPP had not sent the draft to the PML-N so far, the paper quoted him as saying.
