London, May 21 : Liz Hurley and Cherie Blair looked resplendent as they got into the spirit of the Asian Women of Achievement Awards in London.

The former PM's wife went for a traditional look with a red sequined dress while the wife of Indian tycoon Arun Nayar wore an elegant pleated purple dress flaunting her cleavage, reports the Sun.

Hurley was also sporting a bindi at the glittering awards evening to honour dynamic Asian women.

Meanwhile, Cherie has expressed disappointment over the storm of criticism stemming from the publication of excerpts of her autobiography 'Speaking For Myself'.

The details of her life have agitated people, who have even asked her to resign as a part-time judge.
