The National Association of Interchurch and Interfaith Families has named Indo-American leader Rajan Zed as one of its spiritual advisors.The associations purpose is to educate couples and families who are in mixed relationships, enabling all to grow in understanding and live in harmony.
Washington, May 2 : The National Association of Interchurch and Interfaith Families has named Indo-American leader Rajan Zed as one of its spiritual advisors.The association's purpose is to educate couples and families who are in "mixed" relationships, enabling all to grow in understanding and live in harmony.
"Through accepting and understanding our differences, we will discover our similarities," its website says. Based near Midway City in California, it has a center in Stagecoach, Nevada. Reverend Michael and Barbara Slater are co-chairs of this association.Zed is a prominent Hindu and Indo-American leader. He is very active in interfaith dialog in the region. He is one of the panelists for "On Faith", a prestigious interactive conversation on religion produced jointly by Newsweek and washingtonpost.com, and writes for it.
Zed has received many awards from various organizations.
