Melbourne, May 16 : Australian model and would be Mrs Michael Clarke, delivered a moving eulogy before hundreds of mourners in a farewell message to her father.
Graham Bingle, 55, lost his battle with cancer on May 10 surrounded by family.
"He was always there for me...and that's why I love my Dad," Bingle told hundreds of relatives and friends who crowded into the Gymea Baptist Church in Kirrawee on Thursday to pay their respects.
Lara gave her short personal tribute, followed by her mother, Sharon Bingle, who told the congregation about a card Graham made for her.
"You are a strong woman...I love you,'' he wrote.
A slideshow of family photographs charting Bingle's life was screened to the music of America's Ventura Highway and Fleetwood Mac's Songbird.
They showed a devoted family man and keen surfer who's life was cut tragically short.
Cricketer Clarke comforted Lara throughout the service. The Australian vice captain chose to stay at her fiancé side in Sydney rather than join his teammates on tour.
Graham Bingle gave his blessing to the couple's engagement in March, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Clarke, who was recently promoted to vice-captain of the Australian side, has confirmed he will fly out on Monday to join his team for the West Indies tour in the Carribean.
