London, May 15 : When it came to their wedding day, Star Wars-obsessed couple Bramwell Brightey, 33, and his girlfriend Tamsyn Lofts, 29, decided that nothing could be more perfect than exchanging their vows as Han Solo and Princess Leia.
The window cleaner and his fiancée are such big fans of the movie that they have seen it more than 500 times each.
And, in keeping with the theme, not only did their wedding invites read "May the 4th Be With You", but their pals also turned up at the registry office dressed as characters from Star Wars - including Obi Wan Kenobi, Chewbacca and stormtroopers.
The ceremony took a year to plan and some of the costumes had to be flown in all the way from the US.
Bramwell and Tamsyn made sure that every little detail was true the theme, and that included their wedding cake which was specially designed to look like Jedi master Yoda.
"We are crazy about Star Wars, I've been watching it for as long as I can remember," the Telegraph quoted Mr Brightey, as saying.
"I get bored sitting in churches and listening to hymns and readings, so it would've been a bit hypocritical of us to have it in a church as we're not big church-goers.
"The whole day was amazing, everyone looked amazing. I said to everyone there, this is the greatest day of my life. Everyone made an extra special effort and without them, the force would not have been so strong."
