Indias Ambassador to Nepal, Rakesh Sood, has asked the speaker at the interim parliament, Subash Nemwang, about the modalities for holding the first meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA) in Nepal.

Kathmandu, May 13 : India's Ambassador to Nepal, Rakesh Sood, has asked the speaker at the interim parliament, Subash Nemwang, about the modalities for holding the first meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA) in Nepal.

"Sood expressed his curiosity about the first CA meet and the formation of a new government," Kantipur quoted Nemwang as saying.

Emphasizing that bilateral ties between India and Nepal would grow in the coming days, Sood said his country is ready to assist Nepal in holding its first CA meeting.

Sood has already held a series of meetings with Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) chairman Prachanda.
