London, May 12 : While speaking to Kashmiri journalist Murtaza Ali, Dr Shabir Choudhry said, "We will launch a new party this week. New party will reflect present day ground reality of Jammu and Kashmir in its aims and objective."

After dissolution of JKLF talk of new party is being discussed in Kashmiri and Pakistani political circles in various parts of South Asia and Europe.

He further said, "Many people are disillusioned with what Amanullah Khan andasin Malik have done in name of JKLF and nationalism, and many have assured us of their support."

Dr Shabir Choudhry said: "Our policies and approach has always been to fight for rights of all Kashmiri people irrespective of their colour, race or religion. Our struggle is not for Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir only even though they have suffered most in this on going proxy war which was started by Pakistani secret agencies by using JKLF leadership."

"We want to formulate pro people and pro Kashmir policies and have system of accountability and transparency that people of Jammu and Kashmir are empowered'. He further said, 'we are in touch with like minded people on both sides of the LOC, but will only gradually expand our party that we don't make any mistake in the process of membership," he said.
