You can now slip into your brassiere single-handedly, all thanks to a new invention, Bra-Aid.
London, Mar 8 : You can now slip into your brassiere single-handedly, all thanks to a new invention, Bra-Aid.
Cintra Jaggan-Vince's Bra-Aid clips on to a waistband and holds one bra-strap still, while the other is pulled round the body and hooked to it.
The bra can then be slid up into place.
The 40-year-old Cintra thought of the idea in 2002 when hay fever medication gave her a swollen arm.
"I struggled to fasten my bra then I began to imagine how difficult it would be for a person with one arm," The Sun quoted her, as saying.
The device, expected to go on sale for under 10 pounds in May, has won Cintra a British Female Inventor's Award nomination.
And her Dignified Living company even plans to distribute it for free in poorer countries.
Cintra said: "It'll give people independence and dignity in this intimate task."
