Schedule for India, Pakistans foreign secretaries meet to be finalised by next weekend

The dates for the meeting between foreign secretaries of Pakistan and India to review the fourth round of composite dialogue would be finalised by the end of next week.

Islamabad, Mar 8 : The dates for the meeting between foreign secretaries of Pakistan and India to review the fourth round of composite dialogue would be finalised by the end of next week.

"Dates for the meeting would be finalised by the end of next week. The meeting will review the outcome of the fourth round of composite dialogue, which ended last year," the Daily Times quoted diplomatic sources in Islamabad as saying last evening.

The foreign secretaries' meeting would precede a meeting of Pakistan-India foreign ministers who would formally conclude the fourth round of composite dialogue, added the paper.

The two countries' foreign secretaries would again meet before the fifth round of composite dialogue on security, Kashmir, terrorism, Sir Creek, Siachen and trade.

Started in 2004, the composite dialogue has been dubbed as the most comprehensive effort to end Indo-Pak disputes.
