Fiona MacKeown, the mother of British teenaged girl Scarlett Keeling who was allegedly drugged, raped and murdered in Goa last month, is slated to return to her country today with her daughters 40-day-old dead body.
London, Mar 31 : Fiona MacKeown, the mother of British teenaged girl Scarlett Keeling who was allegedly drugged, raped and murdered in Goa last month, is slated to return to her country today with her daughter's 40-day-old dead body.
Fiona said she will go in for a third post-mortem on Scarlett's body as she thinks that the two earlier post-mortems done in India didn't reveal the exact cause of death.
Fiona plans to bury her 15-year-old daughter at their house near Bideford, Devon, reported the Times.
Scarlett's bruised and half-naked body was found on the Anjuna beach on February 18. The first post mortem found that she drowned accidentally. MacKeown demanded a second, which showed that she could have been raped and murdered.
Alleging a quid pro quo among Goa's politicians, police and drug mafia, she vowed to return to Goa to continue her campaign to expose the "nexus". "I've got to come back and see it through," the paper quoted her as saying.
