London, Mar 3 : British royal Prince Harry is getting set to train soldiers in war techniques he learned during his 10-weeks in Afghanistan.
Harry, who called in air strikes, carried out surveillance of Taliban fighters, gave final clearance for attacks on Taliban targets and also guided in some bombing runs while in the war torn region in his role as a Forward Air Controller (JTAC), will now help train soldiers from the Household Cavalry before they begin their stint in Iraq and Afghanistan.
A senior source revealed to the Telegraph that Harry, who had to return four weeks earlier than expected, would soon be given a new job.
"He has returned four weeks earlier than expected and we are not going to give a running commentary on what he will do next. But he will be given a new job. He will receive more training and will give support to others engaged in training," the paper quoted him, as saying.
"As the Prince has trained as a Forward Air Controller they will be keen for him to continue in that field and to pass on what he has learnt.
"But first he will have a well-deserved break and holiday away".
However, his tour of duty in Afghanistan has his protection officers worried for they fear he is now the "top target" for extremists, a source revealed.
"Officers will be looking to be as unpredictable and fluid as possible in his movements. Trips to nightclubs would be a major headache - they could take days of planning," the source said.
