Maoist Chairman Prachanda is not ready to accept defeat in the forthcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) election, if there is conspiracy by regressive forces. Kathmandu, Mar 27 : Maoist Chairman Prachanda is not ready to accept defeat in the forthcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) election, if there is conspiracy by regressive forces. Nepal is the main area of Maoists which would ensure victory for my party," Prachanda said while addressing an election rally in Pathari on Wednesday.

The Nepal News quoted him, as saying, "I had been saying that we will accept whatever decision made by the people of Nepal. Due to the commitment of the people to build a new Nepal, I have seen that we are already victorious. Now, if there is any conspiracy to defeat us, we will not accept such defeat."

"I have already become the first president of proletariat from the achievement of People's War. This only remains to be formalized through the CA election," he added.

The Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) has urged journalists not to back down from their primary responsibility of giving impartial news. It has stated that such accusations were a result of dictatorial thinking.
